Stephanie Zonneveld
Independent Facilitator & Guide
B.A., B.Ed.

About

Stephanie Zonneveld has over two decades of experience in supporting families,
guiding them through government, community, and education resources,
and helping them navigate complex systems, plan for transitions through life,
and to build strong support networks.

She is aware of the challenges and emotional toll that supporting a family member with a disability can bring.
She maintains that every person, regardless of any obstacles, possesses unique strengths
and has the potential to make a positive impact and contribute meaningfully.

She is compassionate and caring.  She believes strongly in the benefit of gathering a 'village'
or network of individuals with various expertise and interest to support an individual;
with the individual at the centre of planning for their future.

She has a proven track record of collaborative work with educators, Ministry officials, community agencies, and families, pioneering initiatives that promote
the inclusion, safety, life skills, employment, and transition planning
of individuals differently-abled,
including the Neurodiverse, those with Autism Spectrum Disorder,  Intellectual Disabilities,
and other challenges.
